Jackson is an award winning lighting designer whose experience spans theatre, dance, opera, fashion, architecture, and concert design. Based in Minneapolis, MN, he works across the Midwest, NYC, and LA. Jackson holds an MFA in Lighting Design from California Institute of the Arts.
His work has premiered with companies such as ATE9 Dance Company, Heidi Duckler Dance, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, Duluth Playhouse, PLAYDŌ Community, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Playhouse on Park, Newfangled Theatre Company, Jackdonkey Productions, Third Space Theater, Children’s Performing Arts, and Lakeshore Players.
Jackson has served as Lighting Director for The Comet / Poppea national tour with The Industry, UnRavelled national tour with Masha Tsimring, Assistant Lighting Designer for Brandi Carlile’s 2026 World Tour, and is a frequent Associate Designer for Fashion Week (New York, Paris).
